Zu einem spektakulären Musikprojekt haben sich die kultigen Death Metal Außenseiter CADAVEROUS CONDITION und HERR LOUNGE CORPS aka Miro Snejdr vor einiger Zeit zusammengetan.
OtSK verewigt dieses apokalyptische Schlachtengemälde mit dem geheimnisvollen Titel "The Breath Of A Bird" nun erstmalig und exklusiv auf Vinyl.

Im Jahr 2018 erschien eine der außergewöhnlichsten Veröffentlichungen im experimentellen Untergrund.
Der aus der NEOFOLK-Szene bekannte slowakische Pianist und Tonkünstler Miro Snejdr - alias HERR LOUNGE CORPS und die österreichischen DEATH METAL-Außenseiter CADAVEROUS CONDITION trafen, wohl dank einer glücklichen Fügung zusammen, um ihr gemeinsames und apokalyptisches Schlachtengemälde zu komponieren.
Während dieser intensiven künstlerischen Begegnung erschufen die Protagonisten ein eindringliches und aufwühlendes Meisterwerk.
OtSK Records präsentiert nun stolz die exklusive Vinyl Version dieses Gesamtkunstwerkes.
Eine dunkle musikalische Vision, die durch elektronisch schwebende Soundflächen, verzerrte, tieffrequente Basslinien, sphärisch-ambiente Soundscapes, orchestral-brachiale Tonwände, metaleske Strukturen und Neo-Klassischen Passagen - zu einem unberechenbaren und gefährlichen Soundhybrid erwächst.
"The Breath Of A Bird" ist ein musikalisch überzeichneter ekstatischer Blick hinter die Kulissen des Lebens.
Es gibt keine Erklärungen, nur abstrakte Beschreibungen von Gefühlszuständen zwischen Trauer und Wut, Verderblichkeit, Inferno, Tod und Wahnsinn.
Auf eine herkömmliche Erzählung wird verzichtet, hypnotisch-rätselhafte Impressionen stehen im Mittelpunkt. Die merkwürdige, paranoid-unheimliche Stimmung ist wie ein Schlüssel, der geheime Türen zu einer eigenen bizarren Phantasie- und Unterwelt öffnet.
Der Weg als Ziel, doch oft genug mit falschen Abzweigungen. Dort wo sich Liebe und Hass begegnen, verschmelzen die Widersprüche wie unscharfe Portraits von Schönheit und Vergänglichkeit. Der Wunsch nach Befreiung wird so zur surrealen Erlösungsreise zwischen fiebrigen Alptraum und Wirklichkeit.
All diese Abgründe, Sehnsüchte und Sinnsuche verbinden sich hier mit den traumatischen Klanglandschaften, aus Neofolk und Ritual Ambient und Metal, die durch dunkle Synthesizer, finster-tiefe Vocals, traurige Klaviersegmente, heavy Gitarrenriffs und Akkordeon hervorragend auskoloriert werden.
Komplementär symbolisiert der Albumtitel leise und kaum wahrnehmbar die Zerbrechlichkeit des Seins in seinen komplexen Formen. Die filigrane Schönheit setzt sich durch und wirkt entwaffnend, wie ein positives Siegeszeichen gegen innere und äußere Dämonen.
Ein außerordentliches Album, ideal um Reflexe zu testen, auszuloten, zu verstehen oder Grenzen zu überwinden.
Coverartwork und Gestaltung:
Die Auflage ist streng auf 111 Exemplare limitiert. Die Edition wurde in "WEISSEM" Vinyl gepresst.
Das Artwork besticht mit kaskadischer Raffinesse. Surreale Collagen zwischen Himmel und Erde skizzieren die phantastischen Traumerlebnisse. Eine dezente Farbgebung aus schroffen schwarz-weiß Tönen und fahler Graustufenatmosphäre verbindet sich geheimnisvoll zu einem melancholischen Gesamtbild.
Dank Inside Out Druck fügt sich das Cover auch haptisch hervorragend in das Konzept ein.
Gepaart mit den Klängen der Stücke, verwachsen diese Komponenten zu einem epischen Gesamtkunstwerk.
Eine besondere Zugabe gibt noch in Form eines mit Siebdruck und echtem "GALANTHUS NIVALIS" veredelten Kunstblattes.
Die Schneeglöckchen wurden eigens gepflanzt, geschnitten, anschließend getrocknet und später auf speziellen und schwarzen Karton fixiert. Zum Schluss wurde die Arbeit vom Künstler ("FX") handnummeriert und signiert.
Es gibt 148 dieser Blätter, jedes ist für sich gesehen, ein eigenes Kunstwerk.
111 Exemplare, liegen nun dieser Vinylauflage bei.
Schon alte Brauchtümer heiligten "GALANTHUS NIVALIS" als Lichtbringer und in geheimen Ritualen wird sogar von Vertreibung böser Geistern, Hexen oder Flüchen gesprochen.
Dieser kultischen Symbolik möchten wir mit der wunderbaren Beilage Tribut zollen.
Als zusätzliches Begleitelement liegt dem Album ein minimal und schlicht gestaltetes Heftchen mit Texten und Infos bei.
OtSK legt auch bei dieser Produktion die Messlatte für den gestalterischen Stellenwert sehr hoch.
Aufwendige Ausstattung in ästhetisch-anspruchsvoller und programmatischer Form veredelt Tonträger und Sound, lässt beides zu einer Einheit werden.
Konzeptionelle Vorbereitungen zum Projekt liefen über Monate. Neben den üblichen produktionstechnischen Abläufen im Presswerk, erfolgte die Veredelung mit spezieller Drucktechnik mit manueller Konfektionierung. Einige Arbeitsschritte konnten nur in Handarbeit ausgeführt werden. Darunter zählen Siebdruck oder Pflanzen pflanzen, ernten und pressen, Handnummerierung zuschneiden usw.

In 2018 an extraordinary album was unleashed upon the experimental underground.
Slovakian pianist and sound artist Miro Snejdr alias HERR LOUNGE CORPS, known in the Neofolk world for his essential contributions to various projects, teamed up with Austrian Death Metal outsiders CADAVEROUS CONDITION. Together they composed and recorded an apocalyptic maelstrom of songs and tonal poems of epic and unsettling proportions.
In this intense artistic encounter, the protagonists created an epic, haunting and stirring masterpiece.

A dark musical vision that grows into an unpredictable and dangerous sound hybrid through electronically floating sound textures, distorted, low-frequency bass lines, spherical-ambient soundscapes, orchestral-brutal sound walls, Metal-esque structures and neo-classical abstractions.
"The Breath Of A Bird" is a musically exaggerated ecstatic look behind the scenes of life.
Like in real life, there are no clear explanations, only abstract descriptions of emotional states between melancholy and anger, depravity, inferno, death and madness.
There is no conventional narrative, the focus is on hypnotic, enigmatic impressions. The strange, paranoid-eerie atmosphere is like a key that opens secret doors to a bizarre fantasy and underworld of its own.
The path as the goal, but often enough with wrong turns. Where love and hate meet, the contradictions merge like blurry portraits of beauty and transience. The desire for liberation thus becomes a surreal journey of salvation between feverish nightmare and reality.
All these glimpses into the abyss and the search for meaning are combined here with the traumatic soundscapes of Neofolk, Ritual, Ambient and Metal, which are augmented by dark and haunting synthesizer sounds, harsh sinister and deep vocals vocals, sad piano segments, heavy guitar riffs and accordion.
The album title itself an allegory on the fleeting existence of everything, the vulnerability and preciousness of the hidden things.
An extraordinary album, ideal for testing reflexes, exploring, understanding or pushing boundaries.
Cover artwork and design:
The edition is strictly limited to 111 copies. The edition was pressed in "WHITE" vinyl.
The artwork impresses with cascading sophistication. Surreal collages between heaven and earth outline the fantastic dream experiences. A subtle color scheme of harsh black and white tones and a pale greyscale atmosphere mysteriously combine to form a melancholic overall picture.
Thanks to inside-out printing, the cover also fits perfectly into the concept in terms of feel.
Coupled with the sounds of the songs, these components grow into an epic work of art.
A special addition is in the form of an cardboard decorated with screen printing and genuine "GALANTHUS NIVALIS".
The snowdrops were specially planted, cut, then dried and later fixed on special black cardboard. Finally, the work was hand-numbered and signed by the artist ("FX").
There are 148 of these leaves, each one is a work of art in itself.
111 copies are now included with this vinyl edition.
Even old customs sanctified "GALANTHUS NIVALIS" as a bringer of light and in ancient secret rituals it is even spoken of the expulsion of evil spirits, witches or curses.
We would like to pay homage to this cultic symbolism with this wonderful addition.
As an extra accompanying element, the album comes with a minimal and simply designed booklet with texts and information.
OtSK also sets the bar very high for the design value of this production.
Elaborate decor and layout in an aesthetically demanding and programmatic form refines the records and sound, allowing both to become a unit.
Conceptual preparation for the project took more than one year. In addition to the usual production processes in the records companies, completion was then carried out using special printings and manual finishing assembly. Some working steps could only be carried out by hand. These include screen printing or collecting and pressing plants, hand numbering, cutting etc.
