Die italienische 'nihilistic Suicide Pop'-Legende gibt im Januar 2024 zwei exklusive Konzerte im Osten Deutschlands.

Nach knapp 6 Jahren Pause kehren die 'Armageddon Gigolos' aus Italien endlich wieder zurück in die Sachsenmetropole.

Bestätigter Termin ist der 26. Januar 2024 im Naumann´s in Leipzig.

Im Gepäck haben die Musiker um Mastermind Simone Salvatory ihr brandneues Album 'The Queen Is Not Dead'.

Der Titel verrät, was Fans schon längst wissen...

Das achte Studioalbum ist eine ehrliche Hommage an die legendären, wundervollen Hymnen von Morrissey und Johnny Marr.

THE SMITHS gilt als eine der wichtigsten musikalischen Inspirationsquellen für SF. So wir der Liveabend entsprechend mit zwei unterschiedlichen Sets hochkarätig und einzigartig auskoloriert bzw zelebriert.

Es treffen die besten, eingängigen und herzzerreißenden Hymnen der SMITHS auf die bekannten bittersüßen melancholisch-nihilistischen Suicide Pop Hits der Römer.

SPIRITUAL FRONT stehen für Kammerpop mit NeoFolk Einflüssen, kombiniert mit urtypischen italienischen postrockigen Sound der 60er Jahre. Großes emotionales Klangerlebnis zwischen Morrissey, Nick Cave, Celentano, Morricone, Scott Walker und altehrwürdiger Mafia-Folklore. Dazu ehren die Musiker die großen Film-Meister der 60er und 70er Jahre. Es gibt verworrene Ausflüge in die neo-realistische Welt von Passolini, Fellini oder Visconti bis hin zu Fassbinder und Herzog. Lasst euch entführen, in eine bizarre Welt zwischen Liebe und Hass, Gewalt und Sex, Begierde, Sehnsucht, Schmerz, Besessenheit...sowie der Suche nach der eigenen Identität.

Im Rahmen des Konzertabends, wird das aktuelle Album 'All Those Tears Ago' vorgestellt. Wundervolle Neofolk-Hymnen voller Melancholie, Einsamkeit und Weltschmerz. Die Neofolk-Verortung lässt auch weitere unterschiedlichsten Genre Inspirationen zu. Es werden Ausflüge in Bereiche des Martial / Industrial, Post-Punk, Gothic oder Ambient gewagt.

Eine ausgezeichnete Kombination verschiedenster Zutaten also, bestens geeignet für ein unverwechselbares und vielschichtiges Live Set mit spezieller Energie, Aura und Stimmung.

Abschließend darf gern zur Aftershow Party zu Wave, NeoFolk, Elektro und Post-Modernen Klängen getanzt werden...

SPIRITUAL FRONT stand for dark chamber pop with NeoFolk influences meets original Italian 60ties post-rock sound. On concert evening GoL will represent new album "All Those Tears Ago". it gathers 12 timeless neofolk hymns full of melancholy, loneliness, solitude. Neofolk as a basis for further interesting genre inspirations like Martial / Industrial, Post-Punk, Gothic or Ambient.

An excellent combination of the most diverse ingredients, ideally suited for an distinctive and complex live set with a special energy, aura and atmosphere.
