Im Rahmen der aktuellen Veranstaltung werden sich Bands aus dem NEO * DARK und EXPERIMENTAL FOLK dem geneigten Publikum stellen.

SPIRITUAL FRONT

Die geliebt und gehasste 'nihilistic Suicide Pop'-Legende SPIRITUAL FRONT ist zurück. Für einen exklusiven Gig werden die 'Armageddon Gigolos' aus Italien die Messestadt unsicher machen.

Bestätigter Termin ist der 31. Januar 2026 im Naumann´s in Leipzig.

Live erwartet euch ein echtes Highlight: Mit allen bekannten Hits der letzten Jahre sowie neuen Songs werden die feinen Herren im gebügelten Maßanzug die Bühne rocken.

Freut euch auf eingängige und herzzerreißende Hymnen und die bittersüßen, melancholisch-nihilistischen Suicide Pop Hits der Römer.

DARKWOOD

Darkwood gehört wohl zu den bekanntesten und bodenständigsten Neofolk-Bands aus dem Raum Dresden.

Die Band ist bekannt für ihren melancholischen und atmosphärischen Sound, der Elemente aus Folk, Weltschmerz und experimenteller Musik magisch miteinander verbindet. Die Texte sind oft poetisch und tiefgreifend, laden zur Reflexion ein und behandeln Themen wie Natur, Mythologie und persönliche Erfahrungen.

Anlässlich der angekündigten "Neofolk-Night" in Leipzig wird es einen der seltenen Auftritte in großer Bandbesetzung geben, bei dem Gitarre, Geige, Akkordeon, Schlagwerk und Perkussion sowie weitere Instrumente zum Einsatz kommen werden.

Ein langersehnter Auftritt der Dresdner Neofolk Band in Leipzig.

DER ARBEITER

DER ARBEITER ist das Soloprojekt des chilenischen Architekten und Musikers Juan A. Seit 2002 entwickelt der Künstler einen einzigartigen Stil, der warme Klänge akustischer Instrumente mit kalten Synthie-Pads und elektronischen Beats kombiniert. Als Inspirationsquelle dienen dem Künstler die erhabenen Naturlandschaften Chiles sowie verschiedene philosophische und magisch-mystische Schriften. Im Rahmen des Live-Auftritts in Leipzig wird der einzigartige Sound durch einen Live-Gitarristen verstärkt. Wir freuen uns auf ein wirklich seltenes und außergewöhnliches Musikerlebnis im Rahmen der "NEOFOLK NIGHT".

ESPACIO VITAL

ESPACIO VITAL ist eine vielversprechende neue spanische NeoFolk-Band, die 2022 in Barcelona als Soloprojekt von Javier Garcia (alias Scarsonist) gegründet wurde. Starke, treibende Akustikgitarre harmoniert mit dem melancholisch-tragischen Klang der Harmonika. Der wunderschöne Sound entfaltet seine Wirkung durch die subtile Untermalung verstörender Soundausschnitte und Samples. Die Arrangements und Stücke sind vor allem von der Klangästhetik und Stimmung deutscher NeoFolk-Bands wie FORSETI oder DARKWOOD sowie von 90er-Jahre Martial Industrial-Künstlern beeinflusst. Trotz der Anlehnung an die alten deutschen Klassiker eröffnet sich eine eigene Echokammer, die die wunderbaren Songs und das Potenzial der Katalanen offenbart. Der oft vertraute Sound wird durch die eigenen Texte in originaler Landesprache mit einer eigenen Aura belebt und ebnet den Weg zurück zum Natürlichen und Emotionalen. Die erstmalige Live-Show in Deutschland steigert die Erwartungen. Ein Debütalbum wird wohl ebenfalls bald erscheinen.

OtSK steht für spezielle, außergewöhnliche und schräge Künstler und Kunst, abseits des Mainstreams und des Konventionellen.
Dabei werden Grenzen und Schnittpunkte in unterschiedlichen Musikrichtungen sowie Kunstbereichen ausgelotet.

The beloved and hated legend of "nihilistic Suicide Pop," SPIRITUAL FRONT, is back. For an exclusive gig, the "Armageddon Gigolos" from Italy will take over Leipzig City.

DARKWOOD

Darkwood is one of the most renowned and down-to-earth neofolk bands from the Dresden area and was founded in 1997 by Henryk Vogel.

The band is known for its melancholic and atmospheric sound, which magically combines elements of folk, weltschmerz and experimental music. The lyrics are often poetic and profound, inviting reflection and addressing themes such as nature, mythology, and personal experiences.

On the occasion of the announced "Neofolk Night" in Leipzig, there will be one of the rare performances featuring a large band lineup, where guitar, violin, accordion, percussion, and other instruments will be used. A long-awaited performance by the Dresden neofolk band in Leipzig.

DER ARBEITER

DER ARBEITER is the solo project of Chilean architect and musician Juan A. Since 2002, the artist has been developing a unique style that combines the warm sounds of acoustic instruments with the cold pads of synthesizers and electronic beats. The artist draws inspiration from the sublime natural landscapes of Chile, as well as various philosophical and magical-mystical writings. During the live performance in Leipzig, the unique sound will be enhanced by a live guitarist. We look forward to a truly rare and extraordinary musical experience as part of the "NEOFOLK NIGHT."

ESPACIO VITAL

ESPACIO VITAL is a promising new Spanish NeoFolk band founded in 2022 in Barcelona as a solo project by Javier Garcia (alias Scarsonist). Strong, driving acoustic guitar harmonizes with the melancholic and tragic sound of the harmonica. The beautiful sound unfolds its effect through the subtle accompaniment of disturbing sound snippets and samples. The arrangements and songs are primarily influenced by the sound aesthetics and mood of German NeoFolk bands such as FORSETI or DARKWOOD, as well as 90s Martial Industrial artists. Despite the references to the old German classics, an own echo chamber opens up, revealing the wonderful songs and potential of the Catalans. The often intimate sound is enlivened by the original lyrics in the native language, giving it a unique aura and paving the way back to the natural and emotional. The first live show in Germany raises expectations. A debut album is likely to be released soon as well.
